Prior to my journey and career on the lines, I worked as a lowely assistant. The job sucked. Sure, I had all the Dr.Pepper I could drink but a boss that thought the world revolved around her. Really. No joke. I once called United Airlines and asked them to change the time of a flight to fit my bosses schedule. I left that job and never wanted to look back.
I’m also felling the credit crunch, just like everyone else in the world. So, I posted my resume online and am thinking of being a temp for a while. Imagine the fun, I’ll be a naughty secretary! However, the only calls I’m getting are for my old company. There just has to be more! It’s not like I live in the middle of nowhere where there is only one employeer. It’s Seattle man! I know there is more than one employeer in this town.
If this keeps up, I may have to move.
